SoliLuxe 1.2

Cards 30.8 Mb Freeware

SoliLuxe is a brand new program designed for modern-day computers. That means a wide-screen aspect ratio, quality scalable graphics, and a b-i-g maximum card size. SoliLuxe stores the definitions of the various solitaire versions in user-accessible, plain-text xml files. Anyone can add another version of an existing game--or a completely new one - by adding an xml file to the /rules directory.

A "Patience Programmer's Guide" is included to explain how to define a game. SoliLuxe uses user-accessible graphics files in standard PNG and JPEG formats. Add new backdrops and card sets just by adding .png and .jpg files to the /images directory. Although the Java JRE must be installed in the computer/OS where you want to run the game, the game doesn't need to be installed on each machine--pop it on a USB stick and take it with you wherever you go.

Limitations:

At some point, later versions may become shareware -- but no-one will force you to upgrade. You can continue to use the last free version for as long as you like.

System Requirements:

Java SE Runtime Environment 6 (or later) installation required
