HalfPipe Torino -- Its the 2006 Olympics in Torino. You're part of the U.S. Snowboarding team and have exactly 2 minutes to show the judges what you've got. Flip, spin, and somersault your way to victory in this exciting, action-packed game.
After you earn up enough points, you can drop by the shop to buy yourself new snowboards and/or snowboarders. Then head over to the options chalk-board to switch the time and conditions in which you compete. There's also a nice graphical fireplace with the two credit plaques mounted next to it.
This game was programmed in only a month and was the first Trek Production using Nuclear Glory Collision so there are several bugs but overall, its great fun and well worth the download. Beta-testers have even declared it more fun to play than D3's last production, Codename Countdown and with 3 snowboarders, 4 snowboards, and 5 tricks, there's alot of neat things you can do with it.
The in-game controls are as follows:
- Upkey = Move snowboarder forward
- Left/Right keys = Steer snowboarder
- Regular numbers (not numpad) 1 through 5 = Do trick with 1 being easiest and 5 being hardest
Please note that the menu control system is somewhat unique. You use the arrowkeys to choose an option while in the main room, you press enter to select it, then in the shop, options, and play menus, you switch to using the mouse.
No install needed
