Northpole Showdown is a Macro Media Flash fighting game for 1 or 2 players.
The story goes like this: Santa needs your help! Robots designed to help Santa's elves have gone haywire and are trying to take over the North pole. You must battle your way and warn Santa before it's too late!

The game play is good. Each level is made up of several different fighting scenes. So you will complete several scenes before you complete a level. There are two annoyances. One is tutorial text comes up in many places to help and you have to keep using the Up Arrow key to dismiss it. And also, since nothing is saved you must fight your way through previously played scenes and levels. The game is run in any sized window that you would like. While the game is paused there is a switch to toggle anti-aliasing. This can be useful if you are using a slower computer.

Controls For Single Player:
Arrows = Move
W = Jump
A = Perform Special Attack
S = Switch Special Attack
D = Attack
Esc = Pause
