The Infinite Ocean 1.3
Adventure 5.5 Mb Freeware
A great adventure with an excellent atmosphere
Turn the lights down, hike the volume up and fall into this brief but brilliant adventure
What is life? What is thought? Is there hope? Is there meaning?
How will it all end?
Authors note:
The Infinite Ocean is a game that means much to me. It is the result of hard work and much thought, and within it are contained many ideas that I find to be interesting and
thought-provoking. Even from my own point of view, it succeeds in creating a unique atmosphere, especially due to Adam DiTroia's excellent music.
When The Infinite Ocean was first released several months ago, I was not perfectly happy with it. There were several things that did not work quite the way that I'd intended them to, and as it turned out, the game wouldn't run on a number of computers. Still, the feedback that I got was
highly encouraging.
Thus, my friend and excellent programmer Kevin Clancy set out to create a new version of TIO, programmed from scratch in C++. This version, which is the one you currently have on your PC, fixes all the bugs that the original game had and improves several small but important details.
Kevin has done a great job and everyone who enjoys this game should be thankful to him for saving it from bug-induced obscurity. Thanks, Kevin.
For those of you who have never played the game before, what can I say? Go into it with an open mind. Don't expect anything - just experience it. Oh, and take notes while you play.
System Requirements:
Windows 9x/ME/XP
sound card
graphics card capable of 800x600 resolution with 16-bit color
