Warp Drive was the first creation of lone developer Ablach Blackrat. In it, you take on the role of a lone space pilot who has to do battle against incredible odds. The game is played at a slight angle, similiar to Gyruss. The goal of the game is to get as high a score as possible before you are wiped out by the constant swarms of enemies.

Game Mechanics

You move from left to right and up and down using the arrow keys. As you fight, you collect powerups like the super laser and shields. The thing that makes this game unique is the odd, slightly angled perspective. It is almost a Gyruss-type view, but not quite. It takes a little while to get used to it.
